Scammers... They will cancel the order and take your money

Scammers.... Cancelled my order, took my money and they refuse to acknowledge the problem. Been trying to get my money back for over 2 months , absolutely disgraceful. I would stay away from this company or the same might happen to you.

Will not be buying anything electronic…

Will not be buying anything electronic from them again.Purchased an Xbox which developed a hard drive fault (which is well known due to a poor batch of Seagate drives Microsoft fitted).Absolutely no response from Smyths ended up paying another £100 for an independent inspection and repair.

Useless spent around 140 on games one…

Useless spent around 140 on games one game dint have it sealed broken case cart was destroyed and then went to swap it store employees started getting mouthy and even manager will not shop at Bradford smyths ever again useless

A great store with a good range of up-to-date stock

Been a semi-regular customer of Smyths - both online and bricks-and-mortar - since the demise of 'that other big toy store' some years back, and have been consistently impressed by the variety of their stock, and how quickly and regularly new items arrive versus some of their competitors.Relying on Yodel for standard delivery yields mixed results, but Smyths' Customer Service team dealt with a recent non-delivery promptly (well within their stated timeframe), courteously and effectively.Very much looking forward to being able to browse their shelves again, particularly as they opened a branch in a very convenient location for me, only a few years ago.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting that you let bots buy up all the ps5 stock and then they had the cheek too spread there joy all over social media platforms! I’ve still got one in my basket now won’t be getting one off you guys anytime soon! ?

All ps5 stock been allocated till February? Absolutely pathetic, sold out in seconds AGAIN just as I got to check out, no system in place to prevent bots and scalpers. So now I have to wait ANOTHER month for a mad dash to probably not get one again. Ridiculous

Nintendo Switch

Recently I have been In search for a nintendo switch and with the re sell market being as popular as it is it has proven difficult. I called our local smyths store (hedge end) and Lauren (manager) advised they didn't have any In stock and said she would take my details and give me a call back if she could source one. I thought she was just being polite but within a few hours she called back and advised that she had sourced the console at another branch and if it suited I could collect it so I did. I went to the Fareham branch where I was greeted by Coral (manager) and other staff who went out of their way to make sure I got the best value for money option for the console and games I potentially wanted. To say that these guys were helpful is a little bit of an understatement and I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond just to please their customer. I've always had top service from smyths but yesterday was just that level above!

I was sold a PS5 as a pre order x2

I was sold a PS5 as a pre order x2, only later to find out that the store had sold me two register your interest receipts. The full amount was placed on a gift card. One of the pre order receipts has been full filled and the other hasn't. Smyths are stating they fulfilled one as a good will gesture, but will not fulfil the other! Going to the ombudsman now!!!

really bad service

been to smyths toys three times now for xbox x was told they were in stock traveled 40 miles to the store to be told there isn't any in stock today spoke to the manager at the oldbury store just tried to fill my head of rubbish don't know how they can treat people so badly good luck if buying from here

Your Click & Collect rules

Your Click & Collect rules are ridiculous, I wasn’t able to collect gifts for my grandkids because it was my daughter who placed the order. I had the email, I had the order number and I had the barcode. I even had ID and proof I was the mother of the person who placed the order. My daughter has to work, she’s had to reorganise her patients just so she could collect in person. No other store does this, we’ll never use your store again.
